Telagana CM KCR along with his family and team of ministers went to Tirumala to fulfill the vows he made during Telangana movement. It is known that during Telangana movement KCR vowed to offer gold ornaments and jewellery to Lord Venkateswara.
KCR fulfilled his vow today when he donated Rs 5crs worth Gold at Tirumala. The gold include a 14.20 kg saligram necklace costing about Rs 3.70 crores and 4.65 kg kanta abharanam costing Rs 1.20 crores. Apart from Rs 5 crores for Lord Venkateshwara Swamy, Rs 59 lakh was offered to other deities.
In the midst of all this Telangana Minister Pocharam Srinivas Reddy complained of chest pain after returning back to the guest house after having darshan of Lord. Officials at once shifted him to Aswani Hospital present on Tirumala.
Hospital authorities gave emergency services and doctors treated him at Apollo Heart Unit. TTD JEO at once visited Aswini Hospital and is looking after the ongoing treatment. Pocharam Srinivas Reddy was supposed to attend Peddireddy Sudarshan Reddy's wedding today afternoon at 12 noon Pushpagiri Mutt, Tirumala but he fell sick suddenly.
