Former CM YSR's son Jagan, chief of YSRCP has been always boasting that he would be the next CM of Andhra Pradesh. In all his public meetings he is going on unabashed that in the next elections Chandra Babu would be voted out of power and he will become the CM of the state.
Whenever cops try to stop him or government officials try to question him, he thunders that he will take severe action once he becomes CM. So people too discuss about 'Jagan as CM' topic every now and then.
In the midst of all this Congress senior leader Jaipal Reddy shared the secret of Jagan as CM. It is known that after YSR's tragic demise in a plane crash,Jagan tried to become CM and even some of his supporters launched signature campaign.
However Congress High Command and Sonia Gandhi instead of responding favourable viewed it as a dissent and from then on viewed Jagan as rebel before expelling him from the party.
Jaipal Reddy speaking to scribes said Congress High Command should have made Jagan as CM at that time considering the popularity and sentiment for late CM YSR. He said Congress failed to guage the mood and sentiment of the people.
