Telangana CM KCR is known for his belligerent ways and his aggressive style of functioning leaves opposition shell shocked. KCR in the last few days fulfilled his vows at various temples. It is known that KCR offered gold ornaments and jewellery to various Gods and Goddesses during Telangana movement.
KCR after two years of silence in power, decided to fulfill his vows. He offered 5crs of ornaments in Tirumala and now on the occasion of Mahashivaratri,offered The 20.28gm golden `kora meesam' (moustache upturned at its tips)' to Lord Veerabhadraswamy temple at Kuravi in Mahbubabad.
He is not bothered despite all the criticism of using Government money and even though national media severely criticised his moves. Congress leader, Marri Sasidhar reddy said " we will approach court against the donation of gold ornments to the tirumala temple as it is against rules. The money was drawn from the common good fund of the Endowments Department. The fund is meant for the upkeep of small temples,which donot have any income"
TPCC president Uttam Kumar Reddy said " KCR neglected jobless. The government milesd the jobless youth by making mere announcement but nothing is done on the ground".
KCR lashed out at his critics saying branding them as 'sannasulu'. He said “Those who are criticising should pause before they speak. People cannot say anything they want just because they can. It pains me that some useless persons are politicising the vows I took. I am happy that today , on the occasion of Mahashivaratri, I managed to keep one of them by presenting agolden moustache to Lord Veerabhadraswamy ,“
