The after many years Puttaparthi Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust has come into limelight again by offering to rebuild the holistic environment around Char Dham spiritual circuit in Uttarkhand. It plans to undertake rehabilitation measures including rebuild damaged villages and take care of orphaned children.

 The Sai Organization  plans  to adopt some of the badly affected villages for holistic rehabilitation after a full survey of the selected villages is made. Focus is tor etain the environment and ecology of the famous Gharwal range of forests which are the roots of magestic rivers -Ganges, Bhagirathi, Alakananda and Yamuna in the Himalayan basin.

 A Sai Trust spokesman said it will not rush volunteers   for relief work as so many Government and other agencies were already on the job in flood hit zone in Uttarkhand .We  are not in rat race of publicity  but only provide service to needy . We have thousands of volunters in region but asked them to not go there. Presently Governments are only looking to resuce pilgrims  and yet to commence rehabilitation work .

 He said our emphasis will be on rebuilding thousands of shattered lives rather than doing anything dramatic at this time. The trust is popular for its drinking water projects in Anantapur and Kadapa district besides its super specialty hospitals at Puttaparthi and White field catering to thousands of poor
