Kapu leader Mudragada Padmanabham is increasing his aggressive posture demanding AP CM Chandra Babu Naidu spell his stand on inclusion of Kapus in BCs and accord reservations.
Mudragada for long has been demanding reservations for kapus and his first meeting Kapu Garjana resulted in shocking violence in Tuni culminating in the burning of Ratnachal Express.
Mudragada speaking to scribes said there would be protests across the state on March 26 demanding reservations. Mudragada apart from demanding reservations for Kapus, is demanding inclusion of Balija, Telaga, Vaddera communities in the Backward Classes list.
He said “We will not sleep until our goal is reached. Neither would we allow Chief Minister to sleep.”. He made clear saying “No party has asked us to do this. We have taken up the issue only to make Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu fulfil his promise given to us,”
