Telangana CM KCR's son KTR is not only known for his aggressive attitude against his rivals but also for the helping nature towards poor and the needy. KTR won the hearts of all with his good gesture.
P.Sravana Sandhya, 4 year old girl from Eluru was suffering from a rare lung cancer. KTR after receiving a request on twitter, assued of all help to the parents of Sravana Sandhya. Students of Ramachandra College, CR Reddy College and Asramam Medical Colleges started Save Sandhya campaign.
Parents Swapna and Murali took Sandhya to the Asramam Medical College Hospital with respiratory problems. Doctors after various tests found a cyst in her right lung and recommended them to go to Hyderabad and Chennai.
Due to poor financial condition,they approached Guntur Government General Hospital which had no facilities. Parents admitted Sandhya in Rainbow Hospital. Doctors removed the cyst afer performing complicated surgery on Feb 15 and later found that the cysts was a round cell tumour. The reports said that it was either a primitive neuroectodermal tumour (a rare tumour that develops in children) or Ewing’s sarcoma, a rare malignant tumour.
Doctors asked them to undergo chemotherapy and radiology in Hyderabad as Vijayawada had no facilities. KTR's office contacted Sandhya's parents and findingout their situation, assured of all help.
