Two days back Private Bus belonging to Diwakar Travels met with an accident at Mullapadu in Krishna district killing 11 innocent people and injuring 30 more. Police registered a case of Rash and Negligent Driving on the driver. But since the driver passed away, Diwakar Travels owners, JC.Prabhakar Reddy, Anantapur MP will have to face the investigation.
Survivors of the tragedy recollecting the ordeal said the bus driver was driving rashly and some stated that he must have dozed off. JC.Diwakar Reddy speaking to scribes came with a shocker about the accident.
He said it was unfortunate that the accident happened and added that though he wished to know how the mishap took place, driver and cleaner were not alive. He said may be driver fell asleep.
He reasoned out that lack of culvert at Mullapadu could have resulted in the accident. He added that he had spoken to Vijayawada MP Kesineni Nani and MLAs and due care would be taken.
