TDP firebrand leader, Revanth Reddy deposed before the XVIII Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate with regards to a defamation case against him filed by My Home Group Chairman Jupally Rameshwar Rao.
Magistrate after hearing the case, expressed his displeasure and asked the parties not to waste the precious time of the court by filing cases for political gains. When Rameshwar Rao requested the magistrate for time so that he can record his statement after his counsel arrived,magistrate made this serious comment.
Rameshwar Rao filed 90cr defamation case against Revanth Reddy accusing of leveling allegations against him and the then government. He said Revanth Reddy's charges were baseless and had been accusing KCR of favouring the builder in securing land that was allotted to Metro Rail and the Gaming City project allotted to DLF.
Incidentally Revanth Reddy too is facing court case in note for vote scam in which he was sent to Chanchalguda jail.
