As per report from sources it was stated that the United States has issued a travel warning for its citizens saying that extremist’s elements are active in India. A travel warning for US citizens was also issued visiting Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh.
Meanwhile it had told its citizens to avoid travelling to Afghanistan as it stated that no region in the country is free from violence.
Besides Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh, the US state
department cautioning its citizens about India has now become subject of
discussion. Although this was part of its cautioning to its citizens about
South Asia travel warning, mentioning of India has kicked up a debate.
While a few international affairs analysts say that the US was referring about the Naxalite elements active in India and also about the terror strikes that struck India once in a while, the timing of mention of India is raising questions as these have been there for a while.
