Will Bihar mantra repeat in the case of UttarPradesh? Is Akhilesh ready to join hands with the arch rival Mayawati to form government in order to avoid president rule in Uttar Pradesh? Akhilesh says yes for all these questions. Even while the exit polls show that there is no single largest party that will reach the magic figure, Akhilesh has all his plans to join hands with Mayawati to prevent President rule in UP which again will be controlled by the BJP with the remote.

"No one wants the President's Rule in the state, so that the BJP runs the government with a remote control," the 43-year-old leader told the BBC, adding that if push comes to shove in the results expected on Saturday, he is not averse to an alliance with Mayawati's Bahujan Samaj Party.

Mayawati has rejected the offer smoothly thrown by Samajwadi Chief. She even expressed her confidence that her party would form the government. According to souces Mayawati is now playing her cards. She seems to follow the wait and watch principle.

The India TV-CVoter exit poll predicts a hung Assembly in Uttar Pradesh by giving the BJP 155-167 seats, the Samajwadi-Congress alliance 135-147, and the BSP 81-93 seats. This is perhaps the scenario that Akhilesh had in mind while declaring his willingness to tie up with the BSP.

Now the discussion is that the will the arch rivals come on to a single platform as it happened in the case of Bihar. Nitish and Lalu Prasad Yadav joined hands to throw away BJP. And now Akhilesh doesn’t want the BJP to rule UP to  by a remote .  So what will Akhilesh do is the hot debate running in political circles.
