In the United Andhra Pradesh, People of Telangana witnessed darkness in their lives said the Telangana Finance Minister Mr. Eetala Rajendar. He introduced the state budget for 2017-18. He said that the government will work only for the benefit of the people and will not let down their confidence that they had put in the TRS Government. Mr. Rajender thanked CM KCR for giving the opportunity of introducing the budget for the fourth time.
In order to a speedy recovery in the states revenue system, the Government had taken many steps, added Mr. Rajendar. Telangana records a income rate of 19.61 percent and stands first in the country. Though demonetization had an impact on the revenue system, Government had taken measures to collect taxes from other sources said Eetala. The overall budget allocated for the financial year of 2017- 2018 is Rs.1,49,446 crore.
