Congress plans to give shock to Modi-Amit Shah team in Goa going to Supreme Court after it failed to get the numbers and BJP in a swift move sent Manohar Parikkar to stake claim and get invitation from the Governor Mridula Singh boomeranged on them.
Supreme Court heard Congress petition challenging Goa Governor Mridula Sinha's decision to appoint Parrikar as the Goa CM made stringent remarks on Congress party.
Court questioned the Congress party asking “If you had majority, you would have held dharna at Raj Bhavan. You could have brought affidavits of MLAs supporting you as inviting single largest party is subject to numbers. Why did you not go to Goa Governor?"
Supreme Court also made clear that its petition to judges also does not evidence that it has the needed support. Supreme Court didnot respond to Congress allegations of horse-trading and violating the established constitutional practices.
Supreme Court refused to stay Manohar Parikkar's swearing in ceremony today evening at 5PM today evening and also askeed the Governor to summon the House for conducting the floor tst by March 15 at 11 AM.
