PM Modi stunned all when he took a daring decision to ban old notes of Rs 500 and Rs 1000. While people hailed PM Modi's decision branding it as a surgical strikes on black money, opposition parties which got huge shock blasted PM Modi accusing him of indulging in a huge scam.
Rahul Gandhi infact promised an earth quake in Parliament but nothing of that sorts happened. During that time very few like AP CM Chandra Babu Naidu, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar and Telangana CM KCR backed PM Modi.
However with the passage of time,after watching huge queues in front of the ATMs, Nitish and Chandra Babu backed out. However Telangana CM KCR supported Modi tooth and nail. Now speaking in the assembly, CM KCR revealed what he told Modi after demonetisation.
He said Modi's decision amputated Telangana's legs but the state stood strongly after demonetisation. He said though few revenue resources slowed down, over all state didnot suffer huge losses. He said speaking to MOdi, he remarked 'Aaap ne mere taang tod diye'.
