Astonishing that the suicides are on increase in Andhra Pradesh among the youth due to pol;itical instability ,unemployment, poverty , spurned love , failures in education and finally marital rights .
With a total 14,238 suicides during 2012, Andhra Pradesh topped the national chart this year. 5,094 suicides were in the high productivity age group of 30-44 years, the highest in the country.

If 1308 persons had committed suicide due to poverty and unemployment in Andhra Pradesh as many as 1441 had ended their lives for relief from AIDS, Cancer and Mental illness had driven in 2012 .
Major diseases driving people to commit suicide include AIDS, cancer, paralysis and mental illness. While 145 suicides were attributed to AIDS, 134 cancer victims and Mental illness resulted in 1,162 suicides.
