Samantha the successful heroine in Tollywood who is also Telangana handloom brand ambassador received honour and appreciation from Telangana Industry and Textile minister KT Rama Rao, who took personal efforts to appreciate her which also gone viral.
KTR lauded Samantha for taking up a field trip to look the plights faced by weavers in the villages of Telangana. He said Samantha is a lucky mascot to the weavers community, and good days are ahead of them. The film heroine turned brand ambassador undertook field visit first to Dubbaka village and interacted with weavers community which is the native of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao's recently.She also made another quick surprise visit to a village in Jangaon district. With no information on the media, Samantha visited Gundala visit and met members of handloom weavers cooperative society.
She was impressed with the Mosquitos nets, sarees and cloths weaved by the society members. She requested the weavers to produce mosquito net slim sarees. Samantha kept her visit secret to avoid media glare and swarming of people to see her during her visit in villages Kudos to the "About to be Bride".
