AICC points man DigvijayaSingh categorically called upon the Telangana and Seemandhra leaders to stop all lobbying, agitations, anarchy in the name of movement for Telagnana.

 ‘Congress party and centre will not tolerate any further escalation of political  instability and anarchy in name of movements ‘said Digvijaya Singh after he heard both sides in one hour and finally said the core committee of the party will meet in a week with CM Kiran and PCC chief Botsa in special attendance to take final call on the issue .  The decision of that meeting will be final be final and no more lobbying or agitations , both regions  will have to accept our decision once for all, he said categorically urging  congressmen not to mess up issues  again as in 2009.

 Amidst rumors that Congress high command favoured separate Telangana an unprecedented way, about 12 ministers, five MPs and 42 MLAs of Seemandhra presented a memorandum to Digvijaya Singh at Lakeview guest house in Hyderabad expressing their dissent over Telangana.They detailed on how tsharing of irrigation water from the projects such as Srisailam, Nagarjuna Sagar and Pulichintala will trigger hostility among Telugus.
