Chief Minister Mr. K Chandra Sekhar Rao said that no section of people in the society will be neglected . Speaking on the appropriation bill on the final day of the Telangana Budget sessions, Mr. Rao replied to the questions that were posed by the oppositions.  He said that like Tamilnadu, reservations in Telangana must also be implemented and for this he said that he would convince the centre and request the Supreme Court.  Mr. Rao also said that the BC reservations has to be studied.  The Chief Minister made it clear that the reservations were not proposed on the basis of religion. Within a week time there would be a discussion on the reservations in  the Assembly, added Mr. Rao

The Chief Minister also announced some good news to the hostel students.The government will increase the mess charges from the present rates said the CM to the house.  For the students of class three to class seven the revised mess charges would be Rs.950 and that of class 8th to class 10th the increased charges would be Rs.1100.  For the students who are in Intermediate and degree the new increased charges would be Rs.1400. With the increased charges about 18lakh students will be benefitted said the CM. Mr. Rao also announced that homeguards will be regularized soon and Asha workers will also witness a hike in pay promised the CM.

KCR said that giving free education to  KG to PG was his dream project. Preparations were on and that his Government target was to bring in the best education policy in the country.  Never in the history that Telangana had witnessed Gurukulas for SC ST’s, BC’s and Minorities. But the TRS government had done this said the Proud Chief Minister.  Degree colleges are set up for the girl students belonging to the SC community added the Chef Minister.

The Legislative Council passed three government Bills after brief discussion on Monday. They include The Telangana Payment of Salaries and Pension and Removal of Disqualifications (Amendment) Bill, 2017, Telangana Bhoodan and Gramdan (Amendment) Bill, 2017 and the Telangana State Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Special Development Fund (Planning, Allocation and Utilisation of Financial Resources) Bill, 2017. These Bills were earlier passed by the Legislative Assembly
