1.  Legislators in for surprise, MLC gives silver bangle, sherwani with son's wedding invite :  Legislators and public representatives received an unusual wedding invitation package on Monday.
2.  The heat is on, Telangana temperature rising :  With the city's maximum temperature touching a sweltering 39.9 degree Celsius on Monday, the local office of the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a three-day high temperature warning across Telangana. 
3.  Nikhil still bed-ridden; Height doctor already back in action :   Almost a year after he underwent a limb-lengthening surgery, S Nikhil Reddy continues to be confined to his bed, waiting for justice. His family says that it'll take at least one more year for the young techie to get back to a normal life.
4.  Gandhi smells plot, but vials lift veil on lie :  A day after it came to light that 12 children were allegedly given expired injections, an external probe committee visited Gandhi Hospital to review the ground situation and unearth the source of the drugs.

6.  To face summer rush of pilgrims, no VIP darshan at Tirumala Tirupati temple :  Faced with tough task of managing heavy rush of pilgrims during upcoming summer holidays, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanms (TTD) has cancelled the VIP break darshan for those carrying recommendation letters ( L3) on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays for 10 weeks beginning April 7.
7.  Deccan park: CAG raps Telangana for denying recreation space :  The Comptroller & Auditor General (CAG) in its report pointed out `unfruitful expenditure on Quli Qutb Shah Deccan Park (QQSDP)and slammed the government for failing to provide recreational space for the public. 
8.  In House, CM K Chandrashekhar Rao schools Congress on economy :  "The wisdom of economy is about how to understand numbers and leverage them to our advantage as the situation demands," said chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, while discussing the Appropriation Bill, whose passing would allow the government to spend funds for the next financial year beginning April 1.
9.  Aadhaar link singes Hyderabad cops, to go slow on petty offenders :  With some political parties expressing reservations over police move to aggressively book cases against persons involved in petty offences and sending them to jail, the Hyderabad police have decided to go slow against such offenders, especially those who are `not' habitual offenders.
10.  3 Nigerians held in Bengaluru for cheating woman :  Three Nigerians were arrested from Bengaluru by the Cyber Crime Cell sleuths of the Rachakonda commissionerate for cheating a housewife, a resident of LB Nagar, to the tune of 1.03 lakh. 


Andhra Pradesh
1.  Jagan pays tributes to Grandhi Subba Rao :  YSR Congress Party president Y.S Jagan Mohan Reddy on Monday evening visited the house of Grandhi Subba Rao and offered his condolences to the members of his family. Mr. Reddy offered floral tributes at the portrait of Subba Rao.
2.  High-handed behaviour of some leaders a headache for TDP :   Series of incidents involving some of the ‘adventurous’ leaders of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) is turning into a major inconvenience for the ruling TDP.
3.  Polavaram will benefit all 13 districts, says Naidu :  The Polavaram project will be a lifeline for all 13 districts of Andhra Pradesh. If all the reservoirs in the State are filled with water from Godavari and other rivers, the State can go without rains for at least two years, said Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu in the Legislative Assembly here on Monday.
4.  Junked notes continue to ‘flow’ into hundi :  Demonetised currency notes of Rs. 500 and Rs. 1,000 continue to pour into the Tirumala hundi.
5.  BJP MLA seeks House panel probe into assigned land scandal : P. Vishnu Kumar Raju, Visakhapatnam north MLA and BJP floor leader in the Assembly, has demanded that a House committee be constituted to inquire into the alleged acquisition of nearly 1,000 acres of assigned land in Visakhapatnam district through fraudulent means and offering it to Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority (VUDA) for takeover under the Land Pooling Scheme (LPS).

9 .  Late night flight from Hyderabad to Vizag sought :  The executive committee of Andhra Pradesh Air Travellers Association (APATA), led by it president Y. Sivasagara Rao and working president Ch. Ramakotiah, met Union Minister of Civil Aviation Ashok Gajapathi Raju and thanked him for the introduction of new flights services from Vizag to Tirupati, Vijayawada, Bhubaneswar and Raipur.
10.  Don’t surrender land for power project, CITU tells farmers :  CITU State president Ch. Narasinga Rao on Monday asked the farmers of Kovvada and its surrounding villages not to surrender their land for construction of an atomic power plant as the U.S. company Westinghouse Electric Corporation was in a deep financial crisis and not in a position to take up the project.
