Is Telangana CM KCR taking a daring step against MIM chief Owaisi? It is known that no one dare to take on the might of the MIM party especially in the Old City, Hyderabad. While Owaisi brothers and their MIM party always maintain close relations to enjoy power without responsibility, ruling parties too feel that it is the easy way to have ties with the MIM and get the votes of the Muslims.
However, it seems KCR and the ruling TRS party is launching a membership drive in the heart of old city, Charminar and this is viewed as a threat to MIM. TRS began the huge membership drive in the Charminar Constituency and it is planning to enroll one lakh members in the next few days.
TRS leader and Setwin chairman Mir Inayath Ali Baqri says "The aim of the membership drive is to spread awareness among people.I advise our party cadres to strive hard for placing Charminar constituency in the top position by registering the highest number of members,''
City president M Hanmanth Rao along with deputy mayor Baba Fasiuddin and Ali Baqri flagged off the membership drive. One should wait and watch the reaction of the MIM party as it is known for its ultra aggressive postures if it feels that someone is challenging its supremacy.
