Babri Masjid-Ram Mandir issue always rose passions among people of both communities across the country. In Ayodhya tempers run high and with political parties stoking passions for and against the temple construction and masjid demolition, it resulted in a large scale violence in the country.
The matter is prejudice and recently Supreme Court called for out of court settlement from both the parties. In the meantime firebrand saffron leader Yogi Adityanath becoming the CM of Uttar Pradesh changed the political equations in the state.
Now Muslims who are opposed to any move to construct Ram Mandir at Babri Masjid demolished site, gave huge shock to Yogi. Muslims shocked all by erecting banners in support of Ram Mandir at Ayodhya.
Now man behind these posters requested police protection for his bold move. The muslim organisations who erected the banners in Lucknow say they put these banners after the Supreme Court's call for out of court settlement.
Azam Khan, the president of Sri Ram Mandir Nirman Muslim Kar Sevak Manch, put out 10 these hoardings across Lucknow to move forward in the direction as 'suggested' by the Supreme Court. He has no hesitation to chant Jai Shree Ram. He says Ram is as respectable to Muslims as to any Hindu. Many young muslims too joined these organisations.
Azam Khan says , "I have been getting threat on e-mails and phones. I can't identify them. They tell me to leave the issue and rather speak in favor of masjid and work to rebuild the Babri mosque. I was also offered money to abstain from my mission."
