With the rise of BJP in West Bengal which is seen during the celebrations of Durga puja,Kali Puja,Ram Navami she is tampering with history and traditions to attract minorities. This is increasing the divide between the Hindus and Muslims and what is becoming more dangerous is that West Bengal is sharing 2,200-km porous international border with Bangladesh along with Assam and Tripura.
This has become the sanctuaries for terror outfits like Harkat Ul Jihadi Al Islami and Jamaat ul Mujahideen,Bangladesh. Islamic fundamentalists found new haven in West Bengal after the northeast and Punjabmilitants.
Khagragarh bomb-making unit in 2014 exploded the link of madrasas, West Bengal’s rural hinterland and terror modules and the disclaimers by the TMC government and consistent denials of the existence of madrasas with sinister links in remote rural locations, strengthened the perception that there was a political advantage hidden in there somewhere.
Unless until,Mamata changes her course of action, Islamic terrorism will show its deadly power resulting in more blasts.
