Guntur West TDP MLA Modugula Venugopal Reddy has vented out his rage out of his disappointment for not being a part of AP cabinet of Ministers in the latest reshuffle which has caused a major political kick off around the state with both positive and negative vibes. He even openly accused the CM and TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu of cheating him.
the Ex MLA Reddy said that he was asked to contest for the Guntur MLA seat although he served as Lok Sabha MP from 2009-14 upon request from Naidu. 'Chandrababu promised me that I would be given minister post if I defeat former minister and Congress candidate Kanna Lakshminarayana. I won the election but I wasn't inducted into the cabinet as per the promise', he recalled.
He was hoping to get minister berth at least in the latest cabinet reshuffle but Babu has once again never kept up his word he said.He told Naidu has offered minister post for the defected ones instead of the sincere and senior leaders he vents out his anguish state.Some other senior leaders of the TDP have also expressed similar opinions after the cabinet reshuffle that saw 11 new faces.
