US President Donald Trump for long has been sending shock waves across the world with his stunning decisions as promised during his campaign in the runup to the presidential polls. He has been planning to review visa rules and impose new restrictions on H1 B visas. 


This will affect all IT professionals from across the world who wish to work in the USA. But since the majority of them are from India, Indian techies have been spending sleepless nights ever since Trump came to power. 


According to the latest Indian techies got Trump shock. USA's revised visa rules say that being a simple computer programmer would no longer qualify as a specialist profession, which is a must for the issue of an H-1B work visa.

This will affect thousands of Indians when they apply for H1 B visa. The new rule reverses the old guidelines that were existing for many decades. The US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has ruled that an entry level computer programmer position would not generally qualify as a position in a "specialty occupation".


Thousands of Indians who will be applying H1 B work visas for the next fiscal year from October 1,201 will be affected badly.
