Many are wondering what is Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath's connection to former Tamil Nadu CM Jayalalithaa who last year passed away in a tragic manner. It is known that Jayalalithaa stole the hearts of all with her development schemes and freebies in Tamil Nadu.
She turned her name into a brand and launched Amma canteens, Amma water bottles, Amma medicines, Amma cement etc. This helped Jayalalithaa to create history by coming back to power in Tamil Nadu for the first time.
Many CMs of other states tried to implement Amma model in their states but they couldn't do it. AP CM Chandra Babu Naidu too tried to bring in Anna canteens inspired by Amma canteens and pay tributes to former CM NTR. However Chandra Babu failed in his mission to open Anna canteens.
Now it is comingout that UP CM Yogi Adityanath who is impressed with Jayalalithaa's Amma canteens,decided to come with a stunning and sumptuous menu. Inside talk is Yogi Adityanath decided to give breakfast for 3Rs, meals for Rs 5 and directed ministers Prasad Mourya and Suresh Khanna to finalise the scheme.
Yogi is planning to open 200 such canteens across the state. BJP is already having similar canteens in its state of Rajasthan. However tiffin is priced at Rs 5 and meals Rs 8.
