T-TDP firebrand leader Revanth Reddy is known for his blistering attacks targeting Telangana CM KCR and his family members KTR,Kavitha and Harish Rao. Despite all this he is unable to make any inroads into the support base of the TRS.
Now with the KCR trying to champion the cause of SCs,BCs and muslims by increasing reservations for them, T-TDP decided to champion the cause of the backward classes against the muslim bill.
Revanth Reddy reminded all parties especially TRS that it was TDP which first introduced political reservations to BCS in all local bodies which is first in the country. He added “But due to previous governments (Congress) inclusion of Backward Muslims in BC (E) category the whole purpose of providing reservations to BCs was defeated,”
He said BC representation in the locacl body elections will decrease if backward muslims quote was increased futther. He said TDP will resist this move.
