During the past few weeks rumours spread that Telangana CM KTR's son KTR will be the next CM of the state. Ahead of the TRS plenary in Warangal many expected KCR to take the all important decision.
All political parties and analysts braced for the change of leadership in the TRS. Congress and BJP went to the extent of even inviting KCR's nephew Harish Rao into their party as Harish Rao is against the elevation of KTR to the top post.
But in the plenary nothing of those sorts happened and many wondered who gave a shock to KCR stopping his grand elevation and the subsequent CM dreams.
Inside talk is KCR virtually planned to elevate his son KTR but Congress' stunning onslaught left him shocked. Though Harish Rao attacked Congress party and other opposition parties for spreading lies on KCR, he felt that it would be risky to fight elections with the changed leadership in 2019.
As such KCR went back on his decision to elevate his son KTR. But he feels that if TRS wins the next elections with thumping majority,noone can question his decision.
