Telangana CM KCR recently flew to Delhi to meet PM Modi to discuss about muslim reservations after passing the muslim reservations bill in the assembly.
Even as KCR is trying to iron out the differences and trying to ensure that there won't be any legal difficulties when the bill is made into a law, Telangana Congress accused KCR and Modi of indulging in match fixing over muslim quota.
Congress leader Shabbir Ali blasting KCR and Modi accused them of having match fixing over muslim quota. He questioned “Leaked reports about Monday’s PM-CM meetings in Delhi have once again exposed the lack of sincerity and clarity on various issues like bifurcation of the High Court, national status to Kaleswaram project, increase of seats in Telangana Assembly etc and also the demand for Parade Grounds for building new Secretariat buildings."
He questioned “Parliament and Constitution alone should be rested with the safeguarding the rights and privileges of minorities. What if a BJP government in the state tramples Muslim rights in future?”
He said “Whatever the outcome of yesterday’s meeting, KCR should make it public instead of leaking selected bits,” and added that BJP and TRS are indulging in drama and questioned “Why keep the outcome of the meeting between Modi and KCR a secret?”
