1.  Petrol bunks to remain open for only 12 hours a day from May 15 :  Andhra Pradesh Federation of Petroleum Traders(APFPT) on Tuesday announced that they will operate for only 12 hours a day from May 15 onwards. 
2.  TRS workers pedal their way to Warangal to attend foundation day event tomorrow :  A group of TRS workers on Tuesday embarked on a cycle yatra fromTRS Bhavan in the city to Warangal where the foundation daycelebrations of the party will be held on April 27.
3.  Greyhound-type training needed for CRPF jawans' :  Telangana's "Greyhounds" type of training is what CRPF personnelprobably need. This is the thinking of some top brass of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in the aftermath of the Sukma incident in Chhattisgarh. 
4.  The Energy and Resources Institute push for green houses in Amaravati :  The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) has decided to set up a research and development (R&D) unit in Amaravati. Ajay Mathur, director-general of TERI, and his team will meet AP CM Chandrababu Naidu in the third week of May to take the project ahead.
5.  K Chandrasekhar Rao boon to farmers: Free fertilizers from next crop :  Describing agriculture as a way of life, chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Tuesday unveiled his grand vision to make farming aprofitable venture in Telangana. 
6.  Don Viqar Ahmed's trial in completion stage :  The two cases on associates of founder of home-grown outfit Tehreek-Ghalba-e-Islam Viqar Ahmed will soon reach conclusion.
7.  High court notice to Centre on fate of women deserted by NRIs :  The Hyderabad High Court on Tuesday issued notices to the ministry of external affairs, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh directing them to file their counters in respect of the innumerable woes being faced by NRI wives both within the country and outside.
8.  Alair encounter report soon, but no RTI information :  In what may come as some relief to families of those killed in the alleged encounter at Alair, police have officially said that the investigation is nearing completion and a report on the subject will be finalised and filed soon.
9.  Freedom for Salma from Saudi torture cell :  Cops in Kanchanbagh finally took two agents into custody for their role in forcibly confining a city woman in Saudi Arabia.
10.  Vacating stay on Sundilla acquisition not urgent: High court :  The Hyderabad High Court on Tuesday saw no need for urgency in the plea filed by Telangana government seeking vacation of stay imposed on the dispossession of farmers and agricultural labourers in Gowliguda of Peddapalli district, where the state is acquiring land for its Sundilla barrage as part of the Kaleshwaram irrigation project.


Andhra Pradesh
1.  AgriGold: HC reserves order on quash petition :  Justice Shankar Narayana of the Hyderabad High Court on Tuesday reserved orders in a plea filed by a former director of AgriGold to quash the criminal case against him. The judge completed the hearing of the plea filed by Sitha Rama Rao.
2.  Six shows of Baahubali to be screened per day :  Cinema theatres in Kurnool district have been accorded permission to screen six shows of Bahubali II per day from April 28 to May 7, according to Joint Collector C. Harikiran. Theatres can screen six shows of the film from 7 a.m. to 2.30 a.m.
3.  Revenue official convicted :  The ACB court on Tuesday convicted then Mundlamuru Tehsildar U. Mallikarjunaprasad and sentenced him to two years rigorous imprisonment for taking bribe.
4.  BJP stoking Hindutva fire: CPI :  If the BJP-led NDA government at the Centre chooses to go for early elections as being talked, it is only to cover up its failures, says CPI National Committee member K. Narayana.
5.  TTD plans ‘Subhapradham’ classes in A.P. and TS :  The TTD management has resolved to organise the week-long ‘Subhapradham’ summer training classes from May 20 in all the districts of Andhra pradesh and Telangana.
6.  Kaveri buried in farm where she died :  Six-year-old Kaveri, who died after falling into a borewell in Jhanjarwad village of Belagavi district, was buried on Tuesday in the same farm where she met her tragic end.
7.  CM Camp Office is CGG from May 1 :  The Chief Minister’s Camp office located near the Swaraj Maidan will now be the office of the Centre for Good Governance (CGG), said Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu at a meeting with the Heads of Department (HoDs) at the Secretariat on Tuesday.
8.  Task forces to boost growth rate: CM :  The State government is planning to constitute a task force in every sector that has been identified as a growth engine. Addressing a meeting with Heads of Departments (HoDs) at the Secretariat on Tuesday, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu said that the proposed task forces were aimed at boosting the growth rate and developing the seven sectors identified. 
9.  GSIB offers PG diploma :  Gitam School of International Business (GSIB) in collaboration with IBM is offering a post graduate diploma in business analytics. According to GSIB director V.K. Kumar, the academic council has approved upgrading of the programme to modular MBA programme.
