Pappu is a word that actually means loved but in political circles it is used to mention that he is just new or in other terms to pin point his ignorance.Now Lokesh is been widely called in the social media by this annoying term.this has truly annoyed the supremo and his party cadres.
They have gone to an extent that the TDP government has begun an aggressive crackdown on such social media campaigners who are posting objectionable content against Lokesh by morphing his pictures.
Former Rajahmundry MP Undavalli Arun Kumar joined hands these protestors who are questioning the intimidation of social media by the ruling TDP. “What is wrong in calling Lokesh a “pappu”? Even Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi was also called pappu in the social media.
If the TDP starts over-reacting to the social media postings and resorts to intimidation of social media campaigners, it would only prove counter-productive(waste of time and money) to the government,” he warned.
