In a shocking incident couple of days back Khammam police shocked all by arresting the protesting farmers and then tying them with chains before producing them in the local court. Their action triggered huge outrage and all opposition parties blasted CM KCR and the ruling TRS government for insulting the farmers.
TDP working president Revanth Reddy speaking to scribes said Harish Rao and Tummala Nageswara Rao directed cops to brand the real farmers as rowdies and insult them. He said “It was at the behest of Tummala Nageswara Rao that cases were booked on the innocent farmers,”
He demanded KCR to take serious action against his ministers. Former MP Ponnam Prabhakar fired on KCR saying “The farmers of Telangana will soon handcuff the Chief Minister and Tummala for humiliating the community,”
He said “These ministers don’t have the courage to face farmers in the district,”
