1.  Many in Old City live on a paltry income of Rs 60 a day :  Believe it or not, many families in the Old City survive on a measly income of `60 a day . And in a number of families the income earners are women.
2.  TRS tears into Shah for flaying KCR government :  A day after BJP national president Amit Shahcriticised the Telangana government for not utilising central funds for various schemes, the TRS hit back at him for what it called his "ignorance of the development that was taking place in the state". 
3. BJP is Opposition in Telangana, asserts Shah :  "In Telangana, the BJP is an opposition party and has been fighting for the people's issues for the past couple of years," Shah said.

5.  Aadhaar now essential for admission to Intermediate :  
Submission of Aadhaar card has been made mandatory in Telangana for admission to junior colleges from the 2017-18 academic year onwards, the Board of Intermediate Education(BIE) announced on Tuesday.

7.  Congress lends support to 'Save Parade Ground' campaign :  The ongoing 'Save Parade Ground' campaign by walkers and sportsmen got a shot in the arm from the opposition Congress on Tuesday.
8.  Extra paddy output, but few ‘gunnies’ :  One of the most eagerly-awaited arrivals in the state these days are two goods trains from Kolkata carrying the precious cargo of 35 lakh gunny bagspurchased by the civil supplies department. 
9.  School fees to be fixed by government soon :  The state government on Tuesday said it would soon issue an order to regulate school feesfrom this academic year in all private schools, including CBSE, ICSE and IB. The order would be based on recommendations of school fee regulatory panel after it gives its report on May 29.
10.  Telangana, Andhra Pradesh war of words may mar KRMB meet :  With the water at Srisailam and Nagarjunasagar reservoirs drying up, fireworks are expected to take place when Telangana and Andhra Pradesh officials attend the meeting of the Krishna River Management Board (KRMB) scheduled to be held in Delhi on May 30. 


Andhra Pradesh
1.  Power shutdown today :  There will be no power supply power in and around Seethammadhara on Wednesday due to interruption of 11 KV BS Layout Feeder for maintenance works. There will not be power supply from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. 
2.  Jagan demands CBI probe :  YSR Congress president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy on Tuesday demanded that a CBI inquiry be ordered into the murder of the party’s Pathikonda constituency in-charge Cherukulapadu Narayana Reddy.
3.   Power supply disrupted in Guntur :   A spell of thunder showers accompanied by heavy gales disrupted normal life in many parts of the city on Tuesday evening. The rain began at 7 p.m. caused power outages in many parts of the town. The most affected areas are Stambalagaruvu, Ring Road, Gujjangundla and Syamala Nagar.
4.  Chalapathi Rao slammed for remarks on women :  Senior actor Chalapathi Rao may have essayed the role of a ‘baddie’ several times in ‘reel’ life but his comments on women at a film function on Sunday, has kicked up a storm portraying him as a baddie in ‘real’ life too.
5.  Jagan for unanimous election of President :  Election of the President and the Speaker must be unanimous to uphold the dignity and sanctity of the top constitutional posts, Leader of the Opposition and YSR Congress president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy asserted on Tuesday.
6.  BJP will emerge a strong alternative to TRS: Amit Shah :  Bharatiya Janata Party national president Amit Shah has asserted that the party would emerge as a strong alternative to the Telangana Rashtra Samiti by 2019 elections and said the party was confident of forming the government on its own in the new State.
7.  Cong. stages protest against Amit Shah visit :  Activists of the Congress party staged a demonstration asking BJP president Amit Shah, scheduled to visit Andhra Pradesh on May 25, to go back for not keeping the promises made by the BJP-TDP combine to fledgling Andhra Pradesh
8.  CAG report slams Vizhinjam pact :  According to the latest report on public sector undertakings tabled in the Assembly on Tuesday, the CAG has listed a number of conditions unfavourable to the State.
9.  Naidu perpetuating factional violence :  Following the brutal killing of its Pathikonda constituency in-charge Cherukulapadu Narayana Reddy, the YSR Congress party has accused the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu of perpetuating factional violence.
10.  YSRC complains to CBI against Lokesh, 50 others :  The YSR Congress filed a complaint with the CBI against IT Minister Nara Lokesh and a few others, including 50 influential persons of the city accusing them of land grabbing, here on Tuesday.
