The Aam Admi Party slammed the Bharatiya Janata Party government in Uttar Pradesh led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath over the poor law and order situation in the state. The AAP alleged that those who are close to Prime Minister Narendra Modi are working against Yogi Adityanath. The AAP launched a broadside against Adityanath and alleged that the UP CM is not able to reignin on the BJP MPs and the AAP clearly revealed that it had intention to fight in the upcoming municipal elections in the state.

The AAP is reeling under successive setbacks. It failed to contest in the recent Assembly polls in UP, besides suffered a defeat in Delhi civic polls. It also faced a disappointing performance in Punjab and Goa elections. At the same time, AAP also faced a revolt by its senior leader Kapil Mishra.Meanwhile, AAP national spokesman Sanjay Singh alleged that the Yogi government has miserably failed on law and order front. At the same time, murder, loot, dacoity and rape kind of crimes have increased by four times. If, the Yogi has ethics and integrity in maintaining the law and order, he should first control the BJP leaders, he added.

A strong gossip is making rounds among the BJP circles that those who are close to Prime Minister Modi are waging a noncooperation movement against the Adityanath’s government, Sanjay Singh said.The AAP spokesman blamed BJP MP Raghave Lakhan Pal that he is directly responsible for the caste violence erupted in Saharanpur.

Recalling an incident where a BJP MP beat an officer with footwear before the beginning of Adityanath’s meeting at Moradabad, the AAP leader said that it had proved that some leaders are working against the CM and is trying to demoralise him.With the respect to the Presidential elections and the bid for the unity by the opposition, Sanjay Singh said that the AAP is still to take a decision and a strategy is yet to be adopted.


Stating that the AAP is against traditional politics of both the Congress and the BJP, he said that they are yet to discuss and come out with a strategy at an opportune moment. Claiming that the BJP government in UP is trying to emulate the AP and Telangana over the loan waiver scheme for farmers, the AAP representative said that the RBI has refused to give loan to the state government for the purpose. He demanded that the Yogi government should clarify how his government is planning to implement the loan waiver scheme.
