1.  Jadhav still giving info on terror: Pak foreign office :  Pakistan's foreign office spokesperson Nafees Zakaria has said that Kulbhushan Jadhav, the alleged Indian spy who was given the death sentence in April this year after a secret military court trial, continues to give "crucial information" regarding his terror activities in Pakistan — suggesting that Jadhav's interrogation has gone on despite the verdict.
2.  Qaida-allied outfit carried out ‘revenge’ blasts: NIA :  A chargesheet filed by National Investigation Agency (NIA) last week against Base Movement, a terror outfit that owed allegiance to Al Qaeda, says that the outfit carried out five blasts in court premises in south India last year to avenge the killing of Hizbul Mujahideen leader Burhan Wani by Indian security forces, encounter killing of Ishrat Jahan in Gujarat, hanging of Yakub Memon and killing of eight alleged SIMI terrorists in Madhya Pradesh last year.

8.  Will rehabilitate those rendered jobless due to new rules: Raje :  Rajasthan chief minister Vasundhara Rajehas said her government will rehabilitate people whose employment might be affected by the new rules on sale and purchase of cattle at animal markets and fairs by enrolling them in state government-run skill development programmes.
9.  Cattle sale norms based on SC order of 2016 :  The environment ministry's notification prohibiting sale of cattle for slaughter or sacrifice in livestock markets is based on the Supreme Court's order of July last year when the apex court had directed it to frame rules under Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960, to curb trans-border smuggling of cattle and to protect animals from cruelty.
10.  Jointmanship necessary among forces: Naval chief :  Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Sunil Lanba said in Pune on Tuesday that jointmanship among the forces was necessary as no single service can win a war on its own. He also asserted that the Indian Navy has increased its footprint in the Indian Ocean Region (IOR) and was ready to counter any contingency.
11. Massive blast near Indian embassy in Kabul :  Official sources at the ministry of external affairs in New Delhi said that all staff at the Indian embassy were safe. Minister Sushma Swaraj also tweeted the same.
