AP CM Chandra Babu before the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh always boasted that Telangana and Seemandhra are his two eyes. He said once Telangana is formed his party will turn into a national party. He said he would be the national leader.
However after the formation of Telangana,he became CM of Andhra Pradesh and whenever he raised problems in Telangana, CM KCR used to thunder what business CM of AP got in Telangana. Thus he lost locus standi on fighting for the people of Telangana.
To the top of it, he never hailed the formation of Telangana and always said state division was painful. Under such situation, one cannot expect TDP to grow in Telangana.
Even though T-TDP leaders like Revanth Reddy are trying to take on KCR, Chandra Babu's actions are hurting the party. Now when Telangana celebrated the formation day on June 2nd, Chandra Babu instead of greeting Telangana people on the occasion, organised Nava Nirmana Deeksha in Andhra Pradesh and said Telugu people are still feeling the bifurcaction pain. Wnder where is T-TDP heading to in Telangana as already many top leaders joined TRS.
