Former Congress CM YS.Rajasekhar Reddy made a lasting impression in united Andhra Pradesh politics. Many still believe had he been alive, Andhra Pradesh wouldn't have been bifurcated. But after the tragic demise of YSR in a helicopter crash, Congress lost a strong political leader and the infighting ultimately resulted in the state bifurcation and also in the virtual decimation of the party in the largest state of the south which brought it to power not once but twice in the general elections.

Now Congress party cadre is buoyed with the visit of its vice president Rahul Gandhi in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. During his visit, former CM YSR's soul, Congress MP KVP Ramachandra Rao attacked AP CM Chandra Babu Naidu accusing him of cheating people of the state with his two eyes policy and also bifurcation politics.

He said though national leaders supported special status for Andhra Pradesh, Chandra Babu is turning a blind eye. He said Chandra Babu lost the confidence of the people. He said Congress will expose the TDP,BJP conspiracy to loot people and cheat them on special status.

He said Chandra Babu is experiencing shivers at the thought of Rahul's meeting in Andhra Pradesh. He said Congress will come to power in 2019 elections and accord special status to Andhra Pradesh. For Rahul's meeting in Guntur, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav, Sharad Yadav from JDU, Elangovan from DMK, Suravam Sudhakar Reddy from CPI and a MP from TMC will be gracing the occasion.
