The new Army Chief General Bipin Rawat is known for his aggressive ways and even before he took over as the Army Chief,he shot to fame by overseeing the much famous surgical strikes across POK in Pakistan.
Army Chief Bipin Rawat is often criticsed for his frank presentation of facts. However Bipin Rawat is undeterred and many times spoke candidly about Pakistan and China.
Speaking to scribes about threats from China and Pakistan, he said "Indian Army is fully ready for a two-and-a-half front(China, Pakistan and internal security requirements simultaneously) war".
Elaborating further he said "Even the PM has stated that for the last forty years not even a single bullet has been fired on the Indo-China border,"
