Former MP from Vijayawada, Lagadapati Rajagopal who during Telangana movement created a sensation with his actions and also with his pepper spray acts in the Parliament,later quit politics after the bifurcation of the state.
Lagadapati who is popular for as Andhra Octopus for his pinpointed and accurate surveys is now planning to make his reentry into politics. Lagadapati after conducting his own surveys is now planning to enter the ruling TDP party.
Sometime back Lagadapati met CM Chandra Babu and during that time rumours spread that he would soon join TDP. However his close sources said that he met CM over business related issues.
Now once again rumours are spreading about Lagadapati's entry into the TDP. His aides say Lgadapati will contest 2019 elections but the constituency is not yet decided. Sources say Lagadapati may contest either from Guntur or Vijayawada. If he decides to contest then either Kesineni Nani or Galla Jayadev may lose their seat.
