A massive fire accident happened in the early morning hours on Wednesday morning.The fire engulfed a 27 storey tall residential building.The residents in he tower screamed for help and the fire engine arrived at the spot.Almost 40 fire engines arrived to shut down the fire.Heavy smoke caused due to the fire has caused choking in that area.
the fire has been burning for more than 5 hours and the residents in the fire block are evacuated to safety places and almost 40 people are taken to hospitals said London ambulance services.
The fire brigade which was involved in the operation said 40 fire engines and 200 firefighters had been called to the put down the fire in Grenfell Tower, which has 120 flats, on the Lancaster West Estate.
“Fire is from second to top floor of 27 storey building,” the fire service said on Twitter.The cause for such a major accident is yet to be probed.Assistant Commissioner Dan Daly has reported it as a very large and serious fire accident in his facebook page.People or residents of that area are in hospitalization for the smoke inhalation.The apartment block was built in 1974 has to be noted here.
