Majlis had to suffer mistreatment at the hands of Congress party right from the time it had withdrawn support to the ruling party few months ago. Senior Owaisi’s had then warned that MIM would take up campaign against the Congress party across all minority dominated segments in AP where it would specifically ask people not to vote for Congress party.
Immediately there were a number of cases registered all over the country against the junior Owaisi, Akbaruddin for his reported hate speech against Hindus following which Akbaruddin was arrested and shifted from one court to the other every other day. Finally the Owaisi clan reduced their rant against Congress party following which a conditional bail was granted to Akbar.
