3 Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists were killed in an encounter at Pulwama district which lasted around 6 hours. The encounter started with respect to an Intelligence report which revealed that three local boys joined the terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba.
This is India's first successful encounter operation in Pulwama district as the area is believed to have a more terrorist presence with a strong network of Sleeper cells. The identity of the three dead terrorists are being established.
This is a big blow to the terrorist organization as Lashkar-e-Taiba already lost its commander Junaid Mattoo on June 17th. The hunt is still going on but sources confirmed that the firing has ended. This is the second successful operation within three days.
