4. 'Manufactured facts cannot alter reality': India on Jadhav's confessional video released by Pak :   India on Thursday dismissed as "farcical" Pakistan releasing a fresh "confessional video" of Indian national Kulbhushan Jadhav and said "manufactured facts" cannot alter the reality in the case.
5.  Pak: Jadhav has sought mercy from army chief :  Former Indian naval officer Kulbhushan Jadhav, who has been sentenced to death by a military court in Pakistan for espionage and subversive activities, filed a petition before the country's Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa for mercy, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Pak army's media arm, said on Thursday.
6.  Nasa launches world's lightest satellite designed by 18-year-old TN student :   On Thursday, India once again broke a global space record by launching the world's lightest satellite weighing a mere 64 grams, called Kalamsat, designed and developed not by professional space scientists and engineers, but by 18-year-old Tamil Nadu student Rifath Sharook and his team.
7.  Bihar railway blast plotters had also planted another bomb, says NIA :  The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has established that the group hired by Pakistan's ISIthrough Nepalese national Shamshul Hoda to plant a pressure cooker bomb on the railway track in Bihar's Ghorasahan on September 20 last year, had also planted a bomb on the track near Nakardei railway station in East Champaran on December 2.
8.  Terror, US aid to Pak to figure in Modi-Trump talks :  Ahead of PM Narendra Modi's visit to the US, the government hinted on Thursday that the PM would raise terrorism emanating from Pakistan and US military aid to Islamabad in his meeting with President Donald Trump.

10.  Pakistan's BAT attack in J&K: 2 Indian soldiers martyred, two attackers killed :   The Army killed two "armed intruders" to foil yet another Pakistani BAT (border action team) operation in the Poonch district along the volatile Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday afternoon. Two soldiers of the Maratha Light Infantry, Naik Jadhav Sandip Sarjerao and Sepoy Mane Savan Balku, laid down their lives in the operation.

10.  China avoids comment on plans to build big dam in PoK :  China today avoided commenting on claims in the Pakistani media that Beijing will fund the $14 billion Diamer-Bhasha dam in PoK and has agreed to include the project in the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.
