Infosys has said since all the jobs are getting automated it comprimises around 11,000 jobs. This open revelation was made during the Indian IT-giant's 36th Annual General Body Meeting which was held on Saturday, June 24. Many topics which covered the retirement of executive chairman R Seshasayee and the relationship between the company's board and its founders were also discussed at the meeting.
While the firm did not specifically say whether the company had sacked off 11,000 employees and even the time frame was not mentioned , it did say that automation software getting into more practise these days is going to play a pivotal role in its business model. Discussing about the benefits of automation, the Bengaluru-based firm revealed that revenue per full-time employee had increased by a rate of 1.2 percent.
