As per latest report from sources it was stated that the first MLA IAS couple of Kerala tied knot in a low-key wedding ceremony held at a temple in Thuckalay, Kanyakumari. It was stated that KS Sabarinath, a Congress MLA, got married to Divya S Iyer, sub-collector of Thiruvananthapuram, in a hush hush ceremony attended only by close ones.
Meanwhile the senior Congress leader and former chief minister Oommen Chandy and other leaders including Anto Anthony, KC Joseph also attended the wedding and moreover the newly wedded, who spilled the beans about their relationship in May, are planning a reception party at Girideepam convention hall in Thiruvananthapuram on Friday.
Sources have made a statement that Sabarinath, an MBA grad, was working
with TATA trust before joining politics. It was stated that after the sudden
demise of his father, G Karthikeyan, a Congress leader and former speaker, made
Sabarinath step into politics. Moreover it was stated that Divya, a graduate in
medicine, had cleared IAS in 2013.
