Sources have made a statement that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will chair a meeting of the BJP Parliamentary Party Executive on the eve of the presidential election scheduled for 17 July, the day on which the monsoon session of Parliament also starts.
Meanwhile B Kamarasu in a letter addressed to all BJP Parliamentary Party Executive members had stated that "A meeting of the BJP Parliamentary Party Executive is scheduled at 3 pm on 16 July, which will be chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and will be conducted by Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ananth Kumar".
It was stated that after Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister, the BJP
formed first of its kind Parliamentary Party Executive Committee and Home
Minister Rajnath Singh, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and senior ministers and
leaders are members of the committee. Modi will address party people and
executives about the Presidential election and the possible ways of having
discussion with them.
