Sources from Andhra Pradesh have stated that Hyderabadis have rated it as one of the most polluted places in the world. Hyderabad stands on 219th spot amongst 296 most polluted cities in the world index. It was stated that the rankings were displayed on Numbeo, a website which uses surveys as a tool to check the level of pollution.
Moreover it was stated that over 70% people of Hyderabad had claimed the city
to be highly polluted in terms of quality of air and water and the worse
polluted city in India, taking spot at the bottom of the index, is Ghaziabad at
295th position.
According to sources it was reported that
Bengaluru and Chennai also stand at the highly polluted side at 229th and 222th
spots respectively. The last position of 296th spot, bearing the tag of most
