It is a known fact that popular leaders from Rayalaseema Chandrababu Naidu and YS Rajashekar Reddy where close friends even after entering politics. Recently there was reportedly an interesting discussion between few Congress and TDP leaders at some private function in Hyderabad.
Some Congress leaders remarked how Naidu didn’t interfere with YSR’s contracts and other businesses when he was the CM and how he had ignored some of the misdealing by his business. It was also said that CBN used some of his good offices to see that KK is sent out and YSR taken in as PCC president in 2000.
Equally TDP leaders also reminisced how YSR made sure some of the active allegations against Babu are withered out. In fact, YSR was the first big elder who met Naidu at Hyderabad attack after his Alipiri attack and told him about how god himself had helped Babu escape near death. Though they were seen attacking each other in public, they were good friends in private. It was only said that it was only after the entry of Jagan that Naidu asked YSR not to help him beyond an extent when it comes to starting new ventures and Jagan was the only factor which created wedge between both of them.
