Bengaluru sources have stated that in an appalling incident, onlookers watched and took videos while a 13-year-old girl was bleeding to death. The heart rending incident took place in MVJ Layout in Mahadevapura in Bengaluru. The victim, Priya Gowda, a Class 8 student, went to BBMP children’s park along with her two friends on Saturday. As Priya climbed the slide, one of the rods fell on her head and fell unconscious.
According to sources, the girl bled for nearly 20 minutes and none of the onlookers came forward to help her. The girl was taken to hospital by Saleem and Megharaj, who was passing by. However, she was declared brought dead. Meanwhile, her father said that park maintained by Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) is responsible for her daughter's death.
The victim's father ruled by saying "How would children know about the condition of the playing equipment if there is no notice board". Moreover, a case has been registered and the official said they would take action after investigation.
