Sources have stated that TDP Telangana unit working President A Revanth Reddy's dream to emerge as big leader may not realize in near future. BJP National President Amith Shah dashed Revant's hopes to join the saffron party. Meanwhile although he was invited to lead Telangana BJP, Amit asked Revanth to come clean first from out of the cash for vote scam pending against him. Revanth was caught red handed while bribing a TRS MLC to vote in favor of Telugu Desam in the legislative council elections two years ago. Telangana ACB was probing the scam.
Meanwhile Revanth's entry in BJP has been finalized with the consent of party high command. He was also assured top post in Telangana BJP unit. Further the trouble rose when Amith enquired about Revanth's credentials.
Accordingly since the Cash for vote scam was closely related to corruption
and the BJP is for corruption free governance in the country, the BJP Chief
strongly objected joining Revanth in his party unless he come out clean
finally, 'disillusioned' TDP leader withdrew his plan to join BJP and decided
to pursue his career in TDP only.
