From the time KCR noticed the potential in Telangana sentiment and exploited it for his political gains, the congress was not wise enough to foresee his motives and did a major blunder on December 9th, 2009 when they announced a roadmap. From then on, the fate of Andhra Pradesh has been hanging in mid air.
Now, congress seems to be keen on taking a decision favoring separate Telangana state but the political analysts are predicting that this is sure to put AP people in danger. The heat is picking up in Seemandhra and once the announcement is made, things are going to turn very violent. With central paramilitary already there, the situation doesn’t look good.
One of the key reasons why the separate Telangana decision is not being accepted by many is, Congress is not giving any reasonable or convincing factors to take this decision and is purely breaking the state for their own political gains. The party will never be forgiven by the Telugu people if the issue will lead to any violence or threat to lives.
