The people of Tamil Nadu, especially Chennai who expected rains to take a break should be disappointed as another low pressure has been formed on the coastal areas and heavy rains can be expected for another 24 to 48 hours.
Some sharp spells of rain are expected to happen intermittently near the coastal areas. Chennai is already suffering from floods and the rescue and relief operations are going at a brisk pace. Chennai Corporation workers are the real heroes and they are toiling day and night to get rid of the waterlogging.
However, with persistent rainfall, the waterlogging happens again and again. In this case, the weather forecasting department earlier said that the rains would go low after November 8th. But now, another low pressure has been formed and the rains are expected to continue for another day or two. The fishermen in the coastal areas were advised not to go for fishing until the rains subside completely.
